        • Ignik Reusable Propane Tank: Ignik’s reusable propane tank is great for camping, weather emergencies, and other outdoor adventures.  Unlike wasteful, messy green propane bottles, Ignik’s gas growler is a refillable, no-waste solution for heat and cooking outdoors. Heat, cook, survive, and thrive in the outdoors, with less waste!
        • Luci Solar Lights: These reusable solar lights from Luci are inflatable, collapsible, lightweight, fully waterproof, & submersible, and can last up to 24 hours on a single charge.   The Pro Series solar light is even more powerful, with cell phone charging capabilities that lasts up to 50 hours on a single charge.

        • Collapsible Water Containers, 5.3 gallon: When a hurricane is imminent, the first thing people do is run to the store to stock up on water bottles.  Ditch the wasteful plastic and expense by investing in collapsible water jugs like these 5.3 gallon containers by ITRAZ.  These containers are foldable, reusable, and include a handle and spigot for easy carrying and dispensing.
        • Generator: A gas or propane-powered generator (like this one from Wen) is helpful in a climate event.  It can provide electricity to your home to run essential appliances.  Just be sure to familiarize yourself with proper generator use.  Generators should not be used while it’s raining, and you should never run a generator indoors!
        • Hurricane Shutters:  Hurricane shutters, like the accordion-style ones pictured here, are the #1 way to keep your home safe during a hurricane.  If your home needs new windows and you live in an area affected by hurricanes, it might be worth the extra money to upgrade to hurricane-impact windows.  These windows are made by bonding multiple panes of glass together, preventing them from shattering if struck by debris.
        • First Aid Kit: Every home should have a fully-stocked first aid kit. You never know when you might need to administer first aid to someone.

        • Candles:  It’s always helpful to have emergency candles on hand in the event of a power outage.  They don’t have to be fancy – any good candle will do!
        • ReadyWise Food Survival Kits and other canned/non-perishable food: Having enough non-perishable food to withstand extended power outages is critical.  These ReadyWise food kits are an easy way to stock your pantry with nutritious, shelf-stable meals in the event of an emergency.
