These layered bar cookies – known as “Hello Dollies” – are the ultimate one-pan holiday dessert. Requiring no bowls or stirring, these bars are delicious and super simple to make. Hello Dollies are kid-chef friendly; we promise little ones will enjoy making (and eating) these bars!
Ingredients:
-
1 stick butter
-
1 cup graham cracker crumbs
-
1 can Angel Flake coconut (optional)
-
6 oz. (or more) chocolate chips
-
6 oz. (or more) butterscotch chips
-
1 cup pecans
-
1 can Eagle Brand condensed milk
-
Holiday sprinkles (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Place a 9”x13” pan holding 1 stick of butter into the oven. Once the butter has melted, take the pan out of the oven.
- Add 1 cup of graham cracker crumbs to the melted butter.
- Sprinkle coconut (if using) over the crumbs. Then top with chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, and pecans.
- Drizzle 1 can of Eagle Brand condensed milk over the mixture.
- Bake the bars for 30 minutes. If you want to decorate the bars with sprinkles, add the sprinkles right after the bars come out of the oven, so they stick to the cooling bars.
- Cool thoroughly before cutting into bars.
