Carley Kimball started her professional career as a local reporter based in Pennsylvania for the USA Today Network, providing her with a solid ethical base and the ability to hone her interviewing, writing, and editing skills. Looking for a challenge, she moved into technical writing and project management roles to successfully fulfill requirements for multimillion-dollar government contracts. She continues to contribute her leadership and technical abilities to lead teams on federal projects and in her freelance work.

In her spare time, Carley enjoys hiking and traveling with her husband, Zach and their two pups, Jazzy and Daisy. She also loves gardening, canning, cooking, tending to their chicken coop, playing board games, reading novels and newspapers, practicing yoga, writing, and listening to their comprehensive collection of vinyl records.
