OPL BOOK SUMMARY:  Backyard Birding for Kids is a terrific guide book with activities to get children involved with learning about birds.  Fran Lee invites children to create backyard habitats which will attract birds to their bird feeders with easy recipes to make as well as creating birdbaths for birds to drink from.  There are several identification charts which makes identifying birds easy for the beginning birdwatcher/birder and a wonderful tutorial on creating a journal to document different species of birds that are identified.
